Home at The Old Schoolhouse, Swalwell, Alberta

I slept well for 9 hours and got up at 7:45. My weight is 229 and BG is 9.2!!!

What is going on? The big changes yesterday were no beer, three Diet Cokes, and a big bowl of frozen blueberries in the evening. What did this?  Blueberries?  Diet Coke?  I'm not getting much exercise and that is likely a factor.

BEE-L is getting livelier and that is a good thing.

I seem to be stuck to the keyboard.  MY BG has gone down to the sevens. BP is 128/82 and pulse is 53.  I keep saying to myself I need to go for a walk but the wind has come up now.  Maybe the treadmill?  Speaking of the gym, I never did get around to the sauna last night.

*   *   *   *   *   *

Right now I am getting ready for my interview Friday in Calgary. Getting the picture they require is a project.  It has to be 3.9 x 3.1 cm with full face, no glasses with a white background.  Shooting such a selfie is not as easy as it sounds because I assume they want something like a passport photo and photos can be rejected for wrong angle, smiling, both ears not showing and other little things.

None of these would do. I'll keep trying.

I cropped this one down and it comes close but one eye is squinting and I was too close to the camera.  Only on ear shows and I am slightly turned. The background is also off-white. And the camera is below centre of my face.  The angle is wrong.  Back to work.

I bought a selfie stick some time back and decided i needed to get the camera farther away to capture both ears. So, I took it out and charged it and had some fun.

Here I am taking my own picture using a mirror.

That's better.

I got better shots but the sheet behind me is wrinkled.  Here is what I settled on and printed.  I see my head is slightly turned.  Will that matter? I gather this is for an ID card.  Maybe I should shoot again tomorrow.  I don't know if the Mexicans are as fussy as the Canadian passport folks.  There was not much info in the instructions.

Looking at myself is a strange experience.  I really don't think much about what I look like to other people and appearance is considered important. People instinctively react to appearances and treat person who appears to be a child differently from someone who appears to be old, but do we ever really know who is inside that wrapper?

I had supper and who knows how the time went.  I did check into a VHF net that I happened upon and played with this diary.

It is a time waster and I'll have to cut back  My virtual life is eclipsing my real life.

I was in bed at ten again.

Why do I spend so much time following the insanity of our time?  I do because our future depends on making the right decisions.  About now I have framed two very important revelations in boxes below.

Intentionally or not, the fact that these vaxxines are a Trojan Horse carrying nefarious payloads, intentionally or not, is becoming clear.

I have my doubts about the farthest out ideas like graphine and 5G theories, but who knows?  This is 2021 and anything is at least vaguely plausible.

As for foreknowledge of the harms that would be revealed, why else would there be suppression of expert knowledge and early treatment and pressure to get everyone treated ASAP?  We have known for some time that the vax efficacy was misrepresented from the start and that their success was just a flash in the pan and that they seemed harmless, but now the negative effects on immunity and other harms are becoming apparent.

I still wonder: is everyone getting the same version of the stuff or are the 'elites' getting saline shots when they are filmed getting 'vaxxed'?

Excerpts clipped from this excellent article are below

Archbishop Viganò warns US bishops about COVID jab: The Great Reset wants 'billions of chronically ill people'

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, while not expressing its opinion on the effectiveness and safety of the so-called vaccines, nevertheless defines them as “vaccines,” taking for granted that they actually give immunity and protect people from active and passive contagion. This element is disavowed by the declarations coming from all of the world’s health authorities and from the WHO, according to which vaccinated people can become infected and infect others more seriously than those who are not vaccinated[7] and find that their immune defences are drastically reduced if not even completely destroyed.

A recent study confirms that the gene serum can cause forms of acquired immuno-deficiency in those who receive it.[8] Therefore, the drugs that are called “vaccines” do not fall within the official definition of a vaccine to which the CDF’s Note presumably refers. In fact a “vaccine” is defined as a medicinal preparation aimed at inducing the production of protective antibodies by the organism, conferring specific resistance against a specific infectious disease (viral, bacterial, protozoal). This definition was recently changed by the WHO, because otherwise it would not have been able to include anti-Covid drugs, which do not induce the production of protective antibodies and do not confer a specific resistance against the SarsCoV-2 infectious disease.

Furthermore, while mRNA serums are dangerous because of the implications they have at the genetic level, the AstraZeneca serum may be even more harmful, as recent studies show.[9]

...in many nations – such as Israel for example[12] – the number of deaths after vaccination is now greater than the number of deaths from Covid.[13]

This means therefore that there is a grave moral obligation to refuse inoculation as a possible and proximate cause of permanent damages[16] or death. In the absence of benefits, there is therefore no need to expose oneself to the risks of its administration, but on the contrary there is a duty to refuse it categorically.

Revelations from Pfizer executives have recently been released showing that the mRNA gene serums contain aborted fetal material not only for the production of the original vaccine, but also for its replication and production on a vast scale,[17] and nothing suggests that other pharmaceutical companies are an exception.

Another aspect to consider is the concrete danger of grave side effects on pregnant mothers and even more serious ones on newborn children: in the United States there have been 675 miscarriages in vaccinated mothers and in the United Kingdom 521 nursing infants have died.

There is much more.  Read it!

"The vaccines appear to induce negative efficacy against infection".
The Vaccines Cannot Do What Is Asked of Them
Read the Articles.  A few excerpts are shown here.

After the 240-day mark, protection against severe outcome is not even at 30%. The decay is most rapid among men, the old and frail, and those with comorbidities – precisely those subpopulations already at greatest risk of severe disease.

The Swedish study finds that efficacy against severe disease last longer, but also decays substantially in much the same way:

Unfortunately, this protection falls below zero – into the zone of negative efficacy – after 7 to 9 months. This is one of multiple lines of evidence confirming that the vaccinated, sooner or later, achieve higher rates of infection than the unvaccinated. According to me, even early vaccine efficacy is likely overstated in studies like these. Probably the vaccinated are always highly vulnerable to infection, but they’re not tested as rigorously and at first their symptoms are so mild as to be nearly unnoticeable. SARS-2 lurks among the vaccinated, mostly undetected until vaccine protection against overt disease dissipates.

What are the chances?
Obvious dangers from the start.

swedish study shows covid vaccines drop below zero efficacy on spread by about 200 days

...vaccines start off reasonably effective, but they fade very quickly. this has long been a criticism and a complaint about the shortness of the drug trials on which their approval was based and the elimination of their control groups to prevent long term study. companies like pfizer are VERY good at clinical trials.  they do not make mistakes. they make choices.

...and given these longer term results, it seems clear why they chose to run short trials and then eliminate the control groups after about 90 days. because that’s when things start to go off the rails.

...it also raises questions about whether the vaccines ever provide ANY sterilizing immunity at all or if they merely prevent symptoms. recall that both the mRNA drug trials only tested those reporting symptoms for covid to assess efficacy. again, seems like a choice, not an error.

...this means that the efficacy of these vaccines wanes VERY rapidly. you’d need to boost every 3 months to keep it high and every 6 to keep it about about 30% on symptomatic infection and 45% on hospital/death.

...there is also an argument that leaky vaccines are causing superspread while at the same time actually making the virus worse by inverting its evolutionary gradient.

...if those are true, the fact that efficacy fades here is the best news we have. we need to stop boosting and let it run down so we stop breeding for hotter strains that make us all worse off. (even the vaxxed)

Home at The Old Schoolhouse, Swalwell, Alberta

I woke at exactly 4:00. I got up, decided that even though I was awake I should try for eight hours and went back to bed.  I dozed a bit but by 4:45 decided that I am up for the day.

At least I think exactly 4:00 because that is what my phone said, however I noticed yesterday at the eleven AM CHU time signal on CBC that the network time on my phone, which I have always assumed to be accurate, was ahead by a whole minute from the official time.

BG this morning is very high again at 9.1.  It is only a few hours since I ate, but I ate chilli and that is not too high in carbs.. I wonder if the Diet Coke is having  a bad effect.  I drank four in the afternoon yesterday.

I was drinking beer in the late afternoon and evenings and found the Coke seemed just as satisfying but  maybe I should switch to water?  Whatever is happening, I m starting to worry about my BG.

I have been in an email discussion with a friend and his relatives for a few weeks now. He has taken the jab and seems stuck on the mainstream narrative and I suppose he has to believe he 'did the right thing'.  He gambled his body on the vaxxes and there is no antidote known.  I hope he is right and I am wrong.  The others are sceptics.

Anyhow it was becoming a time-waster as is all this fascination with the virus, the treatments, and the political actions. So I write:

I think it is time for me to bow out of this. Please drop me from the conversation.

I sympathize with those who trusted, took the potion, and now need to believe they 'did the right thing'. Maybe they did. I hope so for their sake.

Those of us who operated by the precautionary principle still have our options open. For the record I've actually sought out and even paid for all appropriate vaccines in the past but these just don't pass the sniff test for me -- yet -- and it is looking less and less that they will.

There are new 'vaccines' in the pipeline and maybe they will actually work longer and better (the actual absolute efficacy was closer to zero than the 90% relative efficacy bandied about) and have fewer harmful effects but I am afraid the basic premise is flawed--as is increasingly becoming evident to unbiased observers if not to the mainstream.

The focus on a narrow band of genetic info on the original famous spike dooms them to quick obsolescence, even disregarding the damage they do to other important mechanisms of immunity and other subtle or not so subtle harms to the body.

There are good reasons that vaccines against corona viruses have never been successful, and pretending these are any different is proving to be a vain hope.

Although this genetic approach has been used successfully in some other areas like fighting cancer, in those cases the alternative was fairly certain progression of a serious disease so the risks to the patient were considered justified and accepted by the patient, knowing the alternative.

In this case, the disease risk to most people -- assuming they actually become ill with covid and many do not -- and especially the young is virtually nil and the risks from the unnecessary treatment are not justified.

For some demographics and known morbidities the risks are balanced or even favour the treatment although that decision is based on stats, not the individual, who might actually be one of those who would never get the disease, even if exposed. There are tests (imperfect though they may be) for resistance.

As I previously written, I have an open mind on this and would love to believe that the authorities are acting in my best interests even though evidence is piling up that convincingly indicates the opposite and indicates clearly that this is a monumental mistake that promises to extend what would have been a short-term pandemic into a never-ending ordeal..

Anyhow, thanks for the chat. It's been interesting

I need to focus on real activities from now until I leave.  Let's see if I can take my eyes off the trainwreck.

At noon my BP is 117/73, pulse is 62.  BG is 7.2 even though I had chilli an hour ago.

I did an hour on Duolingo.  At this point I am not sure what I am doing if I think about it but I'm getting most exercises right.  It is all going on in my subconscious it seems and that is a good thing.  If I stop to think it interferes with the flow.

I spent too much time this afternoon filling in the form for the Mexican Consulate.  I don't get much instruction on how to do things and really don't want to flub the interview.

Mastering my software was the first issue.  I usually use PDF Exchange Editor and was finding it uncooperative so I took a chance on the Adobe Acrobat I have installed and it did the job perfectly.

I got it done and printed out.  Now I am ready, I think for Friday.  Tomorrow I am to meet Jean in Red Deer. And the next day I have hearing aid appointment in Balzac.

While printing, the ink ran low so I refilled a cartridge. I haven't done that for a while.  It all went well and when I finished following the instructions with the ink kit and put the label back on, I turned the page over and there was a warning not to puncture the grid on the bottom with the syringe. Why it was on the back and would not be seen until the job is done is a mystery. I guess I did not puncture it. The printing went well.

Hector texted me that he cannot has not found the fabric for my dodger locally in La Paz.  He says Sailrite has it in the US.  I checked and the shipping is possible but expensive.

I woke at 7:30 and got up after another good night's sleep. I weigh 226 but Blood Glucose (BG) is still high at 7.2. BP is 128/78. Pulse 59.

Don't know what is going on with the BG.  This a new batch of strips so maybe they are defective?  I decided two days ago to avoid beer or spirits of any sort and yesterday I went to meat-only after lunch to see if that will work to drop the BG.  I am not getting much exercise lately and that could be a factor.

A Review and Autopsy of Two COVID Immunity Studies

An Israeli study by Gazit et al. found that the vaccinated have a 27 times higher risk of symptomatic infection than the Covid recovered. At the same time, the vaccinated were nine times more likely to be hospitalized for Covid. In contrast, a CDC study by Bozio et al. claims that the Covid recovered are five times more likely to be hospitalized for Covid than the vaccinated. Both studies cannot be right.

The Safety of COVID-19 Vaccinations
Should We Rethink the Policy?

Results: The NNTV is between 200 and 700 to prevent one case of COVID-19 for the mRNA vaccine marketed by Pfizer. NNTV to prevent one death is between 9,000 and 100,000 (95% confidence interval), with 16,000 as a point estimate. We observed strong variability in the number of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) per 100,000 vaccine doses across all EU member states. The estimate for the number of ICSRs per 100,000 vaccinations derived from the Lareb database was approximately 700. Among those, there were 16 serious ICSRs, and the number of ICSRs reporting fatal side-effects was at 4.11/100,000 vaccinations. Thus, for 6 (95% CI 2–11) deaths prevented by vaccination, there were approximately 4 deaths reported to Dutch Lareb that occurred after vaccination, yielding a potential risk/benefit ratio of 2:3. Conclusion: Although causality between ICSRs and vaccination has not been established, these data indicate a lack of clear benefit, which should cause governments to rethink their vaccination policy.

In this article, we draw attention to these errors and recalculate the risk of this outcome based on the cohort that was exposed to the vaccine before 20 weeks’ gestation. Our re-analysis indicates a cumulative incidence of spontaneous abortion 7 to 8 times higher than the original authors’ results (p < 0.001) and the typical average for pregnancy loss during this time period.  "Italian Department of Health has revised all-time Covid deaths down from 130,000+ to 3783.

My ear wax scope and remover came today and after I managed to get it to work, I found very little wax in my ears.

I read my BG tonight at 8:10 and got 8.1 so then I tried another batch of strips and got 7.4. That is a big difference.

I ate only chicken for supper but a bit of chilli several hours earlier.  I wonder what is happening. I don't like it. Could be stress.

I roasted a chicken for supper and made the rest into stew, vacuumed and sorted in my bedroom and the studio, watched QotS, and went to bed at nine..

Home at The Old Schoolhouse, Swalwell, Alberta

I woke at 5:30 and got up. I slept well, but had to get up several times. My head is clearer than it has been for some time. Weight is 225.6 and BG is 7.1.  That is still high but coming down.

I've dropped several pounds and I guess it was water. Here is to losing more weight.  I'm going to try to eliminate carbs for a day or two.

BP is 143/84 and pulse is 59.  I'll check it again in a while. BP fluctuates through out the day.

My replacement hearing aid arrived and I have an appointment for five in Balzac to have it set up.  That will be nice.  These little things connect to my various devices -- phone, computer, tablets  -- by Bluetooth and I have  come to rely on the hearing aids for things like listening to the radio and videos and doing Duolingo on my phone.

Yesterday I delayed my flight to Tuesday and that is probably wise. In case something comes up I now have Monday to deal with it.

It is 0835 and the sun is just about to come up in the southeast.  at 8:59 it has just cleared the horizon.

At noon BG is down to 6.9.  I had steak and eggs for breakfast and chicken stew for lunch.

Well, it is one and I have to be in Balzac at 5.  I have other things to do in the city as well so need to do some planning.

I left a bit after four and after putting the serpentine belt back onto the Merc I was ten minutes late for my appointment but that did not seem to matter.

I was shown into the back room and the audiologist, a small young woman with a headscarf and a mask and a face shield got out the new hearing aid. She proceeded to set it up and then I put it on and we tried it out,  Muffled as she was, she was had to hear.

Since it is a year since I got the devices, I asked if she would check my hearing.  That is pretty standard with hearing aids and many audiologists want clients to return twice a year at first at least. Apparently Costco is different.

She was quite resistant to the idea and kept asking me if was having problems hearing and I kept saying how would I know, I'm partly deaf, and that was what I expected her to discover.

Eventually after going around a few times she put me in the booth and did the tests, tweaked the devices and said my hearing had not changed and then we installed a new program on my phone and I went shopping in the store.

I bought meat for tomorrow's supper.

Bert finally was able to get away from caring for 5 year old Alexandra as her father finally came back from MacMurray so we celebrate tomorrow night.

I returned home and had several shots of tequila, figuring that would not affect my diet, watched some QotS and went to bed at nine.

I pollinated canola in Lomond and can testify that the area is virtually a desert without irrigation. The summer days are extremely bright and hot to the point where the bees stop flying from noon to six some days.

In winter, though, the days are very short and the sun never gets more than 17.5 degrees above the horizon on December 21st, so the panels would be pointed at the backs of the ones south of them at midday. Even now the sun is low and weak.

"The project will produce enough electricity to power 150,000 homes"

Home at The Old Schoolhouse, Swalwell, Alberta

I slept poorly and was up a few hours around midnight. Tequila was a mistake and I noticed it is a little sweet and suspect sugar is an ingredient. Who'd a thunk it?

Weight is 225.6 and BG is 6.5.  That is an improvement but I did see 6.3 last night.  I have continued to restrict carbs.

I don't know how accurate these readings are lately. They Range as much as 0.5 for readings taken within moments in time.  I turn the heat down at night and i have always suspected that the instrument is affected by temperature although supposedly that is not the case.

Today I go to the Mexican Consulate in Calgary to apply for residency.  I hope it goes well and that the covid nonsense is not going to be an issue.  I have all the material prepared but they do not give much clear info on what to expect.

I fiddled around and then realised that maybe things were not in order so went through the material I had prepared. The instructions given me were vague but I was satisfied I was as ready as I could be.

Then I realised that I was running out of time because I had to park and then find the office and it is right downtown where parking is sometimes hard to find and can be expensive.  I rushed out the door then realised I forgot my mask and went back, then drove to the city.  I figured I was cutting things close and then reset the car clock and in doing so  realised I was an hour early and would be there at twelve, not one.

So, relieved of pressure, I changed course and returned the alternator in Airdrie, then drove to Princess Auto to get the key and manual for the generator.  That took a while but I still was on schedule so I drove to downtown.  I had used a parking app to locate a parkade and was headed there when I saw ample street parking and so I pulled in.  The max allowed was two hours so I bought two hours.  It cast $9.75.

Fifty years ago when my friends lived in the area and I had a workshop nearby, we parked for free as long as we wished.  Now all that is long gone and has been replaced by skyscrapers.

I was two blocks from my destination and found the building without a problem.  As I entered, three older folks were also going in. We rode the elevator together and it turned out we all were headed for the consulate. A sign on the desk said, "Back at one", so we all sat down and waited.

I was called first and sent for photographing and fingerprinting.  Fingerprinting is big in Mexico and is even used for banking.  Then back to the waiting room.  As I sat there, the old folks were called and all was fine until it turned out that they had brought copies of their passports but not the passports. The clerk consulted at lenght in the back and came back to say regretfully there is absolutely no way they can complete the process without the actual passport because they place sticker on a visa page.  They went and sat down and I asked the man if it was far to go home to get his passport and he said he came from Edmonton.  The only Alberta Mexican Consulate is here. What a wasted trip!

Next I was called in for an interview and sat down with Javier.  He examined my papers and said that the latest one for my savings was not current enough. I told him that I only get statements in January and June. He also said he needed bank statements to show I receive a pension from the Canadian government. I pointed out that their instructions said one or the other.  He was immovable. So I asked what I can do besides give up.

He said there is a copy shop downstairs and a TD bank nearby. I realised I could call my advisors and ask them to get me a current statement so I did and was emailed one right away. I also realised I have a banking app on my phone and maybe could get statements. By then I was quite rattled but Javier was very patient and in no hurry.  Gotta love Mexican ways.  So I said I'd be back and went looking for the copy shop. As I left I asked his name.

The only questions in the interview were why I wanted a permanent residency, where I planned to go, and when.  I answered, "Because I want to live in Mexico", "La Paz", and "Tuesday".  I said La Paz sorta like "La Pass", the way it is said by Mexicans. I saw approval in his eyes.

The copy shop was in the next building and after some efforts I managed to share the files with the staff by email and they printed them out. By then I was out of parking time and walked to the car to extend my time.

As I say, I was rattled and even though I might only need a few minutes, I spent another $7 to be sure.  Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

Back at the office, I handed the papers to the clerk and moments later she brought back my passport with the sticker. Another woman came and explained carefully to me to go in the Mexican line when I land, not the tourist line and then report to Immigration within a month. She had to repeat the info several times because she had a quite an accent and I was quite shaken and not hearing too well. Anyhow she seemed really pleased I was approved.  I could feel the warmth.

I walked to the elevator and a Mexican family was ahead of me and entered the car. They were obviously Mexican and no one, including papa was much taller than five feet. I was going to wait for the next car but they said to come in so I joined them in the descent.

As we dropped, the daughter, a cute girl of maybe eighteen said to me, "Do you speak Spanish?"

They had been watching me listening to the woman give me instructions and could see that I am applying for permanent Mexican residency. I suppose that seems strange since so many Mexicans would move to Canada or the US if they could.  Maybe they had.

I replied, "Un poco".  She said, "¿pocito?"  I said "¡Sí! Aprendo. Estudio una hora todo los dias" She said, "Your Spanish is good".

That was reassuring.  I have no idea how bad my grammar is but being understood is always nice. One of our greatest fears is being misunderstood.

I was back to the car less than fifteen minutes after paying for the extra time and headed out of town, hoping to be back home in time to make supper.

I made it to the Deerfoot and drove north and all was well until I got to CrossIron.  Then it was stop and go to Airdrie and I lost twenty minutes. I had planned to to stop at Costco for gas but decided to carry on.  Maybe I should have elbowed my way out that exit but it looked clogged as I drew nearer and I kept on in hopes that the flow would resume. It did not and was slow to Airdrie and the reason for the slowdown was one construction truck in the construction zone for the new overpass.  It seemed to be doing nothing important but backed up traffic for ten miles.

Construction zones and workers seem to have no clue of their effect on people's lives. They block lanes and stop traffic for no good reason and all too often restrict the flow of traffic ate peak times, causing tens of thousands of wasted hours in the drivers sitting in frustrated traffic.

I stopped at the UFA for gas and found I did not have the cardlock card and had to go to the Superstore, losing another ten minutes. Then I was on my way again on the open road.

As I passed Acme, I was running late and I called B since I know she often comes early and would be surprised to find the door locked.

I arrived home twenty minutes before five and the roast was ready.  I put the lasagne into the toaster oven, put  rice on the stove, started coffee, and set the table.  About then Val appeared.  She was right on time. I put in charge of watching the rice. I made popcorn and the rest of the Usual Suspects appeared.

We had a really good supper. Flo had to leave early and I had collected some clothes and appliances I no longer need and Ellen's old cowboy boots and sent them with her.  She distributed things to the migrants and less well-off folks that are coming around now that Sunterra is building a huge greenhouse and warehouse at Acme.

The ladies cleared the table and set up the dishwasher and all I had to do was put in the soap and start it. After everyone left Carolyn called.  She has settled into the Château in Three Hills and is ready for visitors.

I was in bed by nine.

What an unexpectedly fabulous day!

I slept right through until three.  That is six hours straight. I have not done that for a while.

I got up and walked around then sat for a while, realizing I am relieved and happy.  I just sat there for a long while feeling happy and enjoying just being here.  I looked around and realised that I am a really peculiar person in many many ways and my home reflects that. I then went back to bed at four and slept until 8:42.

I got up and weighed in at 226.6 and with some trepidation I checked BG. After last night's dietary excesses I expected the worst but it read 6.1 again!  Go figure. That is my long-time normal.  BP read 132/63 with pulse at 63.  The diastolic was low for some reason, but a while later read I checked again and it read 133/76. I'm not worried about these numbers.  I just like to monitor the organism and wonder.

Yesterday was a peak day.  I had not expected that going in and had looked at it as an ordeal with an improbable result. I had rearranged my plans for over a month to make sure I'd make that appointment and even moved my flight to leave the coming Monday open in case I had to go back. I'd rushed home through rush hour traffic impeded by construction on the highway and arrived home just in time to make supper and supper worked out fantastically.  There were eight of us.

Today was a wasted sort of a day.  I made soup and did some deskwork, chatted with several people and generally relaxed.

In the evening I looked at getting some test done in Calgary and discovered that they are not open on Sunday and I was sure they were from a previous visit to the web page.

In the evening, at bedtime, I got to thinking and reserved a fallback flight next Sunday in case something comes up and I have to cancel the Tuesday flight.  I can cancel for free but if I do and need to reserve  another, the price can have doubled or tripled so I picked a cheap one and if I don't need it, I'll cancel it.

At bedtime -- 10:30 --  my BP is 115/66 and pulse 67.

Home at The Old Schoolhouse, Swalwell, Alberta

I woke at two and got up a while. I checked my BG and it read 6.2.  I ate soup five hours ago so this is not a fasting number but it is back to my normal.

At about three the Internet suddenly slowed to almost unusable speed. I had a big breakfast and went back to bed around four and finally got up at 0730, Standard Time.

The Internet is still slow.

I'm thinking I may stay here until Sunday now.  Things are changing fast and I realize that the the testing locations are not open today as I had expected and if I want to get some blood tests before I go, I think I have missed the deadline for results by Tuesday since the web says 24 to 36 hours.

*   *   *   *   *   *

Yes. I am staying until Sunday.  I'll start the check in for Tuesday just to see what is involved then cancel that flight.

Why?  I am happy here and have things to do and I've wasted the time to get them done.  Besides I go by feel and this feels right.

I went to drive to Three Hills to have lunch with C and the car would not start. Again.  I jumped the battery and drove to town and had a pleasant lunch with C and two of her friends at Chateau Three Hills.

This is the first time I have been in there and fact is, I was involved in a small way in financing the building.

The place is huge and well built but the common areas seemed a bit plain compared to the place Mom stayed in in Victoria, The Berwick Royal Oak.  The windows in the Chateau are smaller and I suppose in a cold climate that makes sense but makes the common areas dimmer.

C's room, however was every bit as good, larger than Mom's was, and comfortable and her balcony is quite large. I understand there is a range and this may be one of the better single ones.  There are suites, too, I think.

I understand the Chateau is only half full and I suppose that may be due to people taking their old folks home to stay clear of covid which has had a nasty reputation for running through old folks homes.  The type of place where that happens is the more crowded places that cater to those who need assistance not independent living places like this.  The dining hall was mostly empty and so were the common areas.

I drove home and T had asked if I had beer so I had bought six and dropped one off for her. She was painting the ceiling and had paint on her face when she came to the door.  Cute.

I did next to nothing for the rest of the day but did put in my hour of Spanish and catch up on reading.  I went to bed at eight, nine actually on the old time. I hate these time changes.

...Note that I was sick only once since the pandemic was declared. It was a moderately severe respiratory infection that took ~four weeks to recover from. The SARS-CoV-2 PCR test was negative, despite being run at an unreasonably high number of cycles. This suggests that I was one of the many for whom SARS-CoV-2 has proven to be of low pathogenicity or not even a pathogen (i.e. no associated disease).

...The World Health Organization recognized the value of natural immunity quite some time ago. Unfortunately, in Canada and at the University of Guelph, we have failed to recognize that the immune system works as it was designed to.

...As someone who develops vaccines, I can tell you that it is difficult to make a vaccine that will perform as poorly as the current COVID-19 vaccines. Worse, research from three independent groups has now demonstrated that those with naturally acquired immunity experience more severe side-effects from COVID-19 vaccines than those who were immunologically naïve prior to vaccination

...In other words, for those with natural immunity, vaccination is not only unnecessary, but it would put them at enhanced risk of harm. Knowing this, nobody should ever mandate COVID-19 vaccination. Instead, it would be in the best interest of helping everyone make the most informed health decisions for themselves to make voluntary testing for immunity available

I spent a lot of time on the Danielle Smith Locals. Here are some comments I made.

From Danielle Smith Locals

I agree. Thomas Malthus was wrong back in the late 1700s and we continue to prove him wrong.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Thomas+Malthus

Until the covid fiasco, word was that people in the world are healthier and better fed than any time in history. Of course there is debate and many exceptions, but seeing as we have to now collectively think in terms of the herd and not individuals, the the herd is doing well.

There are those who say that more people means more minds and more innovation and so far that seems to be true.

Energy is the real limiting factor. I expect we will see the advent of almost free nuclear energy in the next ten years and that will be a game changer.

As one wise man said, the future is already here. It is just not evenly distributed.

Hydrogen is one of those things that "almost works". There are too many reasons it can't displace the current fuels. What we have now works and is undergoing continuous refinement. The problem is that we are so rich and well-off from fossil fuels that we have the luxury and comfort to bite the hand that feeds us. Proof is that we have just screwed the world's economies for almost two years and, in the developed world at least, nobody is starving. Everyone has the leisure to diss our benefactor. It was ever thus. Civilizations seldom fall for outside forces; they are brought down by the corrosive effects of spoiled and destructive "intellectuals" within.

Thanks for this. I have followed Chris for years but had not seen this. and this sums things up nicely.

Chris' site is Peak Prosperity and it is not cheap to subscribe to but he has many free videos and a free newsletter. He has been watching this trainwreck and trying to figure out best to survive the collapse.

Will the collapse be sudden and violent or slow and managed? Covid has been a deliberate distraction from the financial collapse underway. There are far more promises made than can ever be kept. Our western civilization is Ponzi scheme and all such schemes which rely on perpetual growth peter out. Trees do not grow to the sky. Anything that cannot continue forever has to end sometime. It is a huge topic.

Decades back when human populations were small in Canada and the US, nature was an enemy and a force to be pushed back. Wilderness was to be tamed and cleared for human uses. Native populations were small and scattered.

Large tracts of wilderness were there to be exploited indiscriminately. I grew up in Sudbury and the smelting of ores had killed vegetation for tens of miles around and lakes were polluted. At the time this was considered acceptable since there was seemingly limitless wilderness and its only value was seen to be what we could get out of it without concern for the future.

Similarly, the damming of rivers and flooding of vast tracts to generate hydro power seemed harmless enough to the populations in and around the cities. Little thought was given to the ecosystems given up, the populations displaced and the potential disasterous flooding if and when the dams eventually gave way. We see that same thinking recently in China with the building of the Three Rivers Dam.

With the ballooning of human populations and increased exploitation, the damage became apparent everywhere and nature became more precious. It became clear that if we kept on at the rate we were we would destroy nature and maybe ourselves.

A tipping point came where conservation became more mainstream and energy projects have become very difficult to justify to the populations.

BC is still proceeding with the Site C Dam project which will flood a lot of wilderness and disrupt the flow downstream. It was said that the power is surplus and the project should be cancelled but it was so far underway turning back was not viable and besides if the ill thought out mandates to 100% electrical vehicles continue, even this additional power will not be enough.

In Alberta we have built dams to control flooding (not always successful) and to irrigate, making much semi-desert Southern Alberta productive farmland.

As for the carbon question, that is another scam like covid is increasingly being revealed to be. The problem is that the carbon story is like religion in that proving or disproving is impossible. I recall when many mandate were based on religion in Canada much as they are in some current Moslem counties. Now carbon is our religion.

My opinion is that since the power is there it should be used. Similarly, because we have accessible hydrocarbons and, in spite of pretending otherwise, we need them for plastics, road surfaces, heating, and transportation so we should use them.

As for the carbon dioxide boondoggle, current levels in the atmosphere are near the lowest ever in Earth's known history. Levels ten times the current are harmless to life and actually beneficial. Increased CO2 has shrunk deserts and increased agricultural output. As for the reported decrease in nutritional values of food from faster growth, I am not convinced this is not due to changes in ag methods, plant breeding and soil depletion.

I think the best world is one where we make our own decisions and suffer the consequences but with sympathy and support of our friends and neighbours.

Mostly we need protections from psychopaths and sociopaths but we have not quite figured that part out yet since they cluster in places of power that don't much interest sane people.

Personal integrity and honesty are rare these days. They are too costly for most, even the most well-meaning.

Everyone has a mortgage, kids and car payments, plus debt for a what was promoted as education

Researchers and universities are dependents on grants from Big Pharma that in turn gets a free pass from their weak efforts.

Robert Zimmerman was right. Money doesn't talk; it swears.

This is good...

Home at The Old Schoolhouse, Swalwell, Alberta

I woke up at around midnight and was up for several hours.  I washed dishes, had breakfast of soup and chilli, and did some catch-up at the desk, then went back to bed and slept until eight, or maybe seven.  I have not set all my many clocks back yet.

Weight is 226.4 and BG is 8.2.  I was careless yesterday., plus I had my chilli for breakfast at four and I am wondering if it kicks up my blood glucose. It is beef, crushed tomatoes, mushroom, onions, beans, and some canned corn. IT seems every time I eat it, my BG is high after.  Of course lunch yesterday was pretty high in carbs and the beer in the afternoon added a few more.

I expect to be asked to check in for tomorrow's flight shortly and will see if the process has changed. I'll then cancel that flight.  I fly now on Sunday.

That gives me time to get more done and to have another party.  I also want to get a Mayo covid antibody test and I had discovered that my plan to leave Tuesday would not work out.

I started the check in process to see how it went and then cancelled the flight.  I feel good about this decision.

Now I just have to get away from this keyboard and I have too many pages open.

I started the new generator and put the wheels on the heater.

I did a wash and finally found the mysteriously missing hearing aid.  It was in a sock that went into the wash.  It looks perfect but does not work.  It looks dry but probably isn't inside. I'll dry it out and see if it recovers.

I watched some Queen of the South and decided it is too repetitively violent although not especially gory and is never going to stop being about cartel war and watched half an episode to Kim's Convenience I had seen before and then it was eight-thirty (or is that nine-thirty) and I went off to bed.

I slept a bit then realized I had not put in my eye drops and also that I had intended to shovel the ashes so I got up and went downstairs.  Sure enough the ashes were getting high enough to be a concern.

I shovelled them and had a shower, then sat at the keyboard a while. I was back in bed around ten, or was it eleven?  I still have to change all those (5) clocks.

EXCLUSIVE – 100% of Covid-19 Vaccine Deaths were caused
by just 5% of the batches produced according to official Government data

I had not seen this but I have been questioning the regulatory oversight over the design, production, ingredient manufacture, testing, storage, delivery, and administration and complaining about regulatory capture by Big Pharma since the beginning.

New products made in new facilities with new staff and little oversight plus huge incentives to produce is a guaranteed formula for big problems that are bound to be concealed in the interest of speed and profit if there is little or no independent oversight.

To anyone who has ever worked in production, there is absolutely no way this Operation Warp Speed could have gone right. There was potential for everything from minor glitches to multiple huge and potentially unsolvable problems at every stage along the way from concept to deltoid muscle. (and beyond to heart, spleen.... )

Fact is, too, these products were not honestly tested or reported. That was obvious to anyone with high school science who cared to think and look.

Even in a well-oiled long running production line, things go wrong. Years back, I discovered a serious product defect when working for a big international company but management did not announce it until all the defective product was sold.

While this is good news in a way, this release could be deliberately calculated to let the vaxxines themselves off the hook which would be a bad thing. After all, it is not just one brand that is killing people.

I have been suspicious too that the lots and even formulae distributed to some groups like the 'elites' may have been different or even saline. We are injecting uncontrolled proprietary products, some made by proven unscrupulous criminal organizations into our bodies. What could possibly go wrong?

‘Be prepared to wait’: Kingston emergency care
sees record high patient volumes
But unlike in the last two years, COVID-19 is not to blame. Rather, KHSC is dealing with a sudden influx of critically ill patients suffering from things like strokes, heart attacks and traumatic injuries.

This was on Danielle Smith Locals and is too good not to post here:

One crisp winter morning in Sweden, a cute little girl named Greta woke up to a perfect world, one where there were no petroleum products ruining the earth. She tossed aside her cotton sheet and wool blanket and stepped out onto a dirt floor covered with willow bark that had been pulverized with rocks.

“What’s this?” she asked. “Pulverized willow bark,” replied her fairy godmother. “What happened to the carpet?” she asked. “The carpet was nylon, which is made from butadiene and hydrogen cyanide, both made from petroleum,” came the response. Greta smiled, acknowledging that adjustments are necessary to save the planet, and moved to the sink to brush her teeth where instead of a toothbrush, she found a willow, mangled on one end to expose wood fibre bristles. “Your old toothbrush?” noted her godmother, “Also nylon.” “Where’s the water?” asked Greta. “Down the road in the canal,” replied her godmother, ‘Just make sure you avoid water with cholera in it”

“Why’s there no running water?” Greta asked, becoming a little peevish. “Well,” said her godmother, who happened to teach engineering at MIT, “Where do we begin?” There followed a long monologue about how sink valves need elastomer seats and how copper pipes contain copper, which has to be mined and how it’s impossible to make all-electric earth-moving equipment with no gear lubrication or tires and how ore has to be smelted to a make metal, and that’s tough to do with only electricity as a source of heat, and even if you use only electricity, the wires need insulation, which is petroleum-based, and though most of Sweden’s energy is produced in an environmentally friendly way because of hydro and nuclear, if you do a mass and energy balance around the whole system, you still need lots of petroleum products like lubricants and nylon and rubber for tires and asphalt for filling potholes and wax and iPhone plastic and elastic to hold your underwear up while operating a copper smelting furnace and . . .

“What’s for breakfast?” interjected Greta, whose head was hurting. "Fresh, range-fed chicken eggs,” replied her godmother. “Raw.” “How so, raw?” inquired Greta. “Well, . . .”

And once again, Greta was told about the need for petroleum products like transformer oil and scores of petroleum products essential for producing metals for frying pans and in the end was educated about how you can’t have a petroleum-free world and then cook eggs. Unless you rip your front fence up and start a fire and carefully cook your egg in an orange peel like you do in Boy Scouts. Not that you can find oranges in Sweden anymore. “But I want poached eggs like my Aunt Tilda makes,” lamented Greta.

“Tilda died this morning,” the godmother explained. “Bacterial pneumonia.” “What?!” interjected Greta. “No one dies of bacterial pneumonia! We have penicillin.” “Not anymore,” explained godmother “The production of penicillin requires chemical extraction using isobutyl acetate, which, if you know your organic chemistry, is petroleum-based. Lots of people are dying, which is problematic because there’s not any easy way of disposing of the bodies since backhoes need hydraulic oil and crematoriums can’t really burn many bodies using as fuel Swedish fences and furniture, which are rapidly disappearing - being used on the black market for roasting eggs and staying warm.”

This represents only a fraction of Greta’s day, a day without microphones to exclaim into and a day without much food, and a day without carbon-fibre boats to sail in, but a day that will save the planet.

Tune in tomorrow when Greta needs a root canal and learns how Novocain is synthesized.

Home at The Old Schoolhouse, Swalwell, Alberta

I woke up at 5 and since I was awake I got up.  I had maybe 6 hours of sleep.

I read an article yesterday on my phone (thanks to Google) saying that six to six and a half hours is ideal and that longer is associated with developing dementia.  Of course other articles about other studies say that eight is ideal and that less than eight is harmful.

I should quit reading those science articles.  They are (almost) all junk. Anyhow I figure if I need more sleep, I'll nap this afternoon.  Most science articles say that afternoon napping is healthy.

I was having a dream.

I was in downtown Sudbury and somehow had to get to 1207 and back.  I caught a ride with a friend on a Harley and as we left Minto and turned left I asked him what he thought of Indians,  He said something about not caring about race and said I meant Indian motorcycles.

He said he had friends that rode them and mentioned Ponies.  Apparently that is motorcycle, too.  Dunno.  I'm not a biker.

We got to the top of the hill near the old Iron bridge. There was some concern about the right handgrip breaking off.  Things got vague and and somehow I was on foot again near the confectionary near the bridge where as kids we ate French fries with far too much vinegar.

I needed to catch a bus that was likely to come across the bridge shortly so I ran across to the bus stop but there were two bus stops close together and so I asked a woman standing there with a child of about four if I was at the right place,  She was more interested in my bright red jacket and the brand patch but eventually I found out this was the correct stop. It was and about then I woke up.

Weight is 227.6. BG is 7.9. Go figure.  I drank no beer yesterday and had few carbs.  I did eat the rest of my chilli though. I had two eggs before bed,

About now, I should be on my way to the airport to fly south but I changed that flight to Sunday.  Funny, the longer I am here, the less motivated I am to leave. My problem?  I like it wherever I am.

It is five to seven and I have had breakfast and done some reading and writing.  Somehow I am less interested in the covid and civil rights narrative and may actually do some physical jobs today.

The day is dull.  The morning passed.  I was feeling vague and not getting much don. By noon I was feeling chilled and very tired so I lay down and slept until after one.

At 2:30 I'd be landing in San Jose del Cabos and looking for Ecobaja. By five-thirty I'd be at the Marina.

I walked up to the Neighbours' for eggs thinking the walk would do me good.  It did.  The air was brisk and the sun was weak though light overcast. winter is coming.  I noticed I am weak today and had noticed that I was uninspired all day. I need to work out.  Getting to La Paz should help with that.  I expect we'll be snorkelling a lot but by mid winter the water is cooler and my friend's enthusiasm will likely wane.

And now, at 7:40, I'd be settled in on Baja Magic.

Instead, I am here at The Old Schoolhouse, sorting paper.  I got out some file folders that I needed to look through and came across an envelope my Mom had given me some time back.  I had not looked into i it but found many old letters I wrote home from camp and sure enough I mentioned sailing every day when at campo and not canoeing and being the only one in my section to reach the skipper level.  I'd forgotten.

My handwriting then was a bad as it is now.

I has some ground beef with cheese before bed And was in bed at nine by the newly changed clocks.

This was another day where i was fascinated by the emerging revelations, writing on Danielle Smith Locals, and did not get much done in the real world.  Seems I am leaving the day before the Alberta Government has mandated only QR codes will be accepted for some activities.

About the AHS Monoclonal Antibody Announcement

Everyone wants desperately to believe, but maybe this is not such wonderful news and the targeting of the "unvaxxed" is immediately suspicious.

These appear to be another gene tampering product and maybe have the same eventual harmful effect on natural immunity as the injections. Both treatments do not address fortifying the main entry points of respiratory virus attacks -- the nose and sinuses -- but rather are administered into the body directly.

Besides they are a complex and technical product that I suspect are subject the same sorts of production and compatibility issues that are now being revealed with the vaxxes. Mortality and other complications wil be hard to prove for them due to the confounding factor of covid infection.

Read about these products and decide for yourself if you want them in your one and only body.

I've wondered if the legal challenges based on civil rights is the wrong approach because the courts seem compromised and are very slow. Even if the cases are eventually won, they will take too long and the damage is being done now.

That huge sign north of Calgary saying that the unvaxxed are 30 times more likely to wind up in ICU got me thinking. This is blatant false advertising. We have laws against false advertising and there are both civil and criminal penalties.

Would a better approach be to find what individuals and organizations are responsible and charge and sue them all?

Such charges would have immediate effect I would think

"The Competition Act contains both civil and criminal misleading advertising provisions that apply to false or misleading claims made to promote the supply or use of products (including services)."

"For a claim to be misleading, it must be proven that: (i) a representation has been made, (ii) to the public, (iii) to promote a product or business interest, (iv) that is literally false or misleading (or with a false or misleading general impression) and (v) that the claim is “material” (i.e., likely to influence a consumer into buying or using a product or otherwise altering their conduct)."

"Criminal misleading advertising is substantially similar, but also requires that a claim be made “knowingly or recklessly” (i.e., with intent).

--- I posted previously ---

Seems a clear case of false advertising. Might apply to the vaxxines, too, since they do not do what is claimed and anyone who cares to knows that fact. Moreover, they are known to be dangerous or lethal to some consumers. This is well documented.

Advanced Narrative Collapse
This is not my favourite article by this writer inasmuch as he gets a bit abusive towards the targets of his contempt.

New Pfizer antiviral and ivermectin,

Well, He finally said it. He has been beating around this for some time but now he has said it.

I guess it takes a lot of courage and this a case where once a few speak up and the narrative begins to crack the rest dare to join in. In recent weeks, the vaxxines have shown to have feet of clay and alternative stories are seeping into the mainstream. Will the dam burst? Let's hope.

The rest of us have known about ivermectin since Dr. Kory spoke to Congress a year ago. That session video was censored on YouTube and generally suppressed but many of us have kept ivermectin on hand and taken it occasionally as a preventative and when we thought we might be fighting the virus.

Until now there has not been conclusive evidence as to the mechanisms and the degree of efficacy beyond observational trials and anecdotes of miraculous escapes from an impending session on a killer ventilator due to last-minute ivermectin being smuggled in.

A grim warning from Israel: Vaccination blunts, but does not defeat Delta

We're not even sure that vaxxines blunt the illness in every case, if in any case, anymore. Nobody really knows.

Remember the contrived 'evidence' of efficacy and safety is statistical and average, not universal and evenly effective for every individual, and what efficacy there was has faded to below zero in some cases.

The vaxxines may not do anything for some individuals and be 100% for others. They may have down-regulated natural immunity for some, making them more vulnerable.

Moreover there is variability and chance for error in every step from manufacture to injection.

Prevention and early treatment are the answers and by prevention I don't mean useless masking or useless social distancing. The real answers are ventilation, avoiding enclosed crowed locations maintaining natural immunity with zinc, etc. and using ivermectin prophylactically where there is fear of vulnerability or exposure. IMO anyhow.

Caveat emptor. I am not a doctor, a politician or a TV talking head, so what do I know?

Vaccine Risks In Children

The Real Anthony Fauci
Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health Kennedy, Robert F.Kennedy

An investigation of data found in the USA’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has revealed that extremely high numbers of adverse reactions and deaths have been reported against specific lot numbers of the Covid-19 vaccines several times, meaning deadly batches of the experimental injections have now been identified.

But what’s perhaps more concerning is that the “deadly” lots were distributed widely across the United States whilst other “benign” lots were sent to just a few locations.
