search function

Many thanks to the administrator for his excellent search function. It never fails to amaze me how much better it is than at most sites. I got into a discussion on another forum about winter wraps and this lead me to search the diary and found out that I had forgotten how much of your wintering wrap philosophy I cribbed. Searching old posts and entries is a wonderful way to pass these cold winter nights.

Glad you enjoy it. I find very useful myself. Google offers a free custom search designed especially for websites and this site seems to get well indexed by Google, so the results are quite complete.

Of course searching is dependent on finding the right key words or word fragments -- and logic in some cases.

The Google web search from the same page has some built-in filters so when searching for bee-related material, it may do a better job than the search on Google's main page.

I also find the search function really useful. Plus many times when using Google as my search I pick up your pages.
