Allen have you ever used a pressure cooker? I seldom buy canned beans anymore, because I can cook up dried beans in an hour or less with a pressure cooker.
Yes, I use it for ribs sometimes. Never for beans.
It seems to me that the canned beans at 87c a can (Wal-Mart) are as cheap or cheaper compared to dried beans, more consistent, and more convenient. Maybe I have just not found the best source of dried beans ? I bought them at at No Frills.
