Fairview College - located at Fairview in Alberta, Canada - was the premier facility for studying practical beekeeping in Western Canada. The town of Fairview is located in the centre of one of the most productive honey producing areas in Canada, and the world, the Peace River area. Long summer days in these northern latitudes, together with vast acres of nectar producing plants produce large crops of water white honey.
The Beekeeper Technician Program at Fairview is now discontinued. These pages are here for historic purposes only.
There is a possibility the course may be offered again in coming years.
