Subscription Form (next page) can be a bit confusing.
Unfortunately, it is part of LISTSERV, and not a page we can edit.
We advise trying out the various various settings -- no harm will be
done -- and you can return here, again and again, until you get
things the way you like. ...And yes, the correct button to
push when you are done is the
Join the
List button, even though you already may
be a member! That is unless you are unsubscribing. A picture of typical settings for a typical member is shown below. The Headers on the left on that page, Subscription type, Mail header style, Acknowledgements, and Miscellaneous are also links to details of the meaning of each setting. Hint: Setting to "LISTSERV-style, with list name in subject [SUBJECTHDR]", adds the string "[BEE-L]" to the Subject line all the email from BEE-L and makes automatic sorting into a special in your email software easier. (See second picture below. The example is for automatic receipt of all messages in plain text in real time, storing messages locally on the user's computer (allowing off-line reading), with a subject headers all beginning with [BEE-L], and the member receiving copies of post made by him/herself.
