Allen, here is an outline of my procedures. Feel free to reformat.
My objective is to determine if it is advantageous to feed fumigillan in patties in the spring.
I made up patties with and without fumigillan in the recipe.
As I visited each yard, a 1 lb (approx) patty was placed on the top bars of all colonies. I selected 1 pallet and collected fees from the underside of the inner pillow from all 4 colonies (or 3 if there were only 3 available). I intend to sample these same colonies in a few weeks. Will there be a difference between those colonies that received fumigillan in the patty and those that did not?
