Hi Allen, I assume you're refering to me. I'm sorry to have to tell you that I've heard of the drenching method but havn't actually tried it. I guess I'm not as adventurous as some since I continue to follow the label intructions. By saying this, I don't mean to sound as though I'm bashing those who are more daring than I.
As far as spring treatment goes, I have fed the recommended rate in inside feaders and have come to the conclusion by "unscientific means" that it is not worth it. We don't treat in the spring anymore but I'm open to anything and so perhaps your work will force me to take another look at it.
