Maybe I should mention that this project was inspired by my friend Eric Abell's offer to do the microscope work if we would sample our bees this spring and that we would try to evaluate together some different, and maybe more economical nosema treatment methods against the standard -- and costly -- method.

Some of our friends have been experimenting with drenching, but I'm not sure anyone -- in Alberta anyhow -- has made an effort to nail down the efficacy of such treatments. Maybe Kevin C has, I don't know.
