Of course you can use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5's 'Make Available Offline' feature when you save the diary main page under 'Favorites'.  Use the 'Customize' button and say 'Yes' to go down 2 levels from that page.

After the synchronization finishes, you can browse all the diary pages online or offline much more quickly.  There will be  no waiting for the pages to download while reading and you will be able to click on the links and see the full size pictures accompanying the thumbnails.  (Links to larger photos obviously do not work on the paper printout but work under this method.
