As many have noticed, I am an extremely skeptical individual :). It seemed to me to be routine by starting off by testing our testing methods. I had no idea that we would not get closer results than we did. I hope I haven't opened a can of worms here. If I have, so be it. Maybe we'll be able to figure out how to overcome the variability without having to kill the whole hive.

But teh crux of the matter seems to me to be that if we can't even get consistent measurement to establish nosema loads, that we can't start using Integrated Pest Management Strategies, since IPM depends on a cycle of measure, decide, treat, measure...
